Responsibilities-
  • This is for acquired entity by group in FMCG Category Position is to manage Finance and Accounts department for new entity in country and will report to Head Finance Kenya
  • Overall responsibility of the Finance function & audits ,Compliances, Budgeting, MIS
  • Financial evaluation of projects and post implementation review of the projects.
  • Monitoring and evaluating business processes; suggesting and implementing changes to bring in control, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Involvement in operational functioning pertaining to procurement negotiations and cost savings.
  • Maintain repository of data and information to support business processes.
  • Overseeing the implementation/maintenance of ERP system.
  • Preparing Annual Business Plans (ABP) for the unit.
  •  Anchor the annual budgeting exercise and ensure that the businesses have a rational assumption basis for the budget.
  • Responsible for maintaining and reporting P & L for the unit on a monthly basis.
  • Preparing Rolling Estimates for remaining year for all regions and reporting the same to HO.
  • Responsible for preparing brand contributions, day sales inventory calculation. Monthly Management reporting with detailed analysis of sales & profit along with comparison with prior Rolling Estimate, Annual Business Plan & Previous Year.
  •  Timely preparation of annual/monthly reports ensuring analysis of the performances on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure compliance of all applicable statutory and legal requirements for the assigned geography.
  • Responsible for planning and managing internal/statutory/tax audits.

-Report to Head Finance Kenya

Candidate Profile-
  • CA with Strong FMCG/Pharma/Manufacturing finance background of 4-8 years post qualification experience   and hands-on experience in accounting/financial operations will fit.
  • Knowledge of SAP/ERP Accounting Systems will be desirable.
  • Previous experience in Africa/East Africa is most desired.
  • Salary is all inclusive at Tanzania & for Other Countries.
