CTC Offered- 12.0 to 16.0 Lacks Per Annum

Location- Mumbai

Age Group- 30 to 36 years.

Total Experience- 8 to 12 years.

Qualification- MBA or PGDM.

Industry- Tyre

Functional Area- Supply Chain Management.

Product- Tyres

Management- L04 Middle.

Responsibilities-

1. PROCUREMENT MANAGEMENT:

• Track the demand/supply dynamics of raw materials, their base material and monitor the price trends in order to enable smart buying strategies

• Hedge buying of natural rubber depending upon price advantage vis-à-vis local rubber

• Decide the optimum supply mix to ensure uninterrupted supply of raw materials at minimum cost

• Tracking of business environment and supplier intelligence

2. INVENTORY MANAGEMENT:

• Manage working capital effectively, balance fluctuating requirements with availability and commitment to suppliers

• To interact with marketing, stores, exports and outsourcing for uninterrupted supply of imported RM

3. VENDOR DEVELOPMENT: tap potential in both domestic and international supply market to achieve long term security of suppliers at lowest cost

4. IMPORTS:

• To facilitate import clearances from ports to warehouses/plants

• Optimize utilization of licenses to extract maximum export benefits

• Liaison with custom-house agents/customs authority, DGFT, shipping companies and transporters for smoother clearance of imported material & refunds if any

5. Finalize raw materials transportation contracts and rates for sale of scrap & NPAs

6. Ensure timely submission of MIS reports to top management

Candidate Profile –

MBA/PGDM with at least 8 years’ experience in Supply chain, procurement, vendor development & inventory control. Experience in commercial activities is most desired.
