BE -5 – 10 yrs of Experience in Manufacturing Industry Process planning/manufacturing engineering

Experience in CNC programming of VMC / HMC , TS Systems , MOST , SAP , AutoCAD is must.

Gummidipoondi is 50 kms form Chennai where the position is based.

1)       The incumbent should be able to benchmark new products and finalize specifications and modeling.

2)       He would be responsible for vendor development prototype building.

3)       He would be required to conduct pilot runs and take field feedbacks. Identify new application development and select suitable prime movers.

4)       He would be responsible for designing the layout, fitment, testing, pilot run and field trials.

5)       Benchmark and improvise existing products conduct validation testing.

6)       He would be required to identify approval requirements prepare documents accordingly and make submissions to testing agencies for sample testing.

Candidate Profile-

Graduate in Mechanical/ Automobile engineering & 12 to 15 years minimum, IC engine background in R&D, design & testing.

You should have

Expertise in IC engines. Strong understanding of all applications related to engines. High proficiency in Software used for design, PRO E, CATIA, Auto CAD. Sound knowledge of emission, noise and IPR processes.

• Drive technology acquisition and develop manufacturing equipment specifications, manage engineering projects form the specification development, quotation, vendor selection, design, installation, debug, and production start-up phases of projects.
• Develop and document manufacturing process specifications.
• Setting up manufacturing line, testing line, Assembly line.

• Prepare process flow maps and support operations as necessary with the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles.

Candidate Profile-

Drive Manufacturing Excellence across the units Knowledge of QMS,TS, MOST  system & implementation. Handled machinery / equipment selection & implementation

•        Demonstrated ability and experience in managing major capital projects from concept development to production start-up phases. Hands on experience in designing the process, debugging the process & proving the process.

•        Strong ability to plan at both strategic and operational levels.

•        In-depth practical and engineering knowledge of processes including machining, assembly, body shop, and process parameters. Knowledge on lay out, machine balance, automation, CAPEX control.

•        Working knowledge of AutoCAD, process simulation and Layout optimizations

•        Strong analytical and computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft software applications

•        Experience of implementing MOST, QMS, CAPA , VSM.

•        Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks with

•        Demonstrated ability and experience in quality systems, tools and procedures (TS16949) and related customer quality standards and requirements

•        Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) are required with dealing with both internal and external customers
